Presence

• Presence matters more than any photo I could ever force.
• A wedding day can hold many things at once. Joy, grief, nerves, excitement. All of it is allowed.
• Feeling relaxed and feeling seen will always matter more than things looking perfect.
• If you feel nervous being photographed, I haven’t done my job. Making you feel safe and seen is my highest priority.
• There is nothing to prove. I want you so present that anyone who looks at your photos can feel it too.

Process

• I work from a journalistic approach because honesty matters more than control.
• I watch and listen far more than I pose.
• Imperfections tell the truest stories.
• A photo only matters if it carries a feeling. When an image holds emotion, you remember the day instead of judging how it looked.
• You live your day. I document it.

PEOPLE

• Your guests are your greatest decorations.
• The people at your wedding are your history. Documenting them is just as important to me as documenting you.
• I don’t want to hijack your day. Gone are the days of disappearing for hours to stage moments.
• I want you at your cocktail hour.
• My hope is that you fall in love with how your day actually unfolded in all its honesty.
